I mean even if it does start raining, the streets are gonna be in such crapty shape, with all the slush and sidewalks are going to be terrible for people that walk to the school. My teacher really didn't say, but it's defintatly not the school itself. Umm, I guess you say that it's too dangerous to drive, or that your kid has to walk, and the sidewalks are icy and dangerous, and its really hard not to fall, you know whatever your reason is for not being able to come that day. Sidewalks are really icy down here, I have to walk in the middle of the road usually lol, it's snowed about 2 inches on top of the 1.5/2 feet of snow from before, and it's still going strong, roads are alright, and it takes a lot for sd36 to cancel school days so i'm 50/50 right now, if that even.
