I got mine on Tuesday after school and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get a copy (I didn't pre-order). I was able to get it at the first place I went to (HMV) and they had plenty of copies lying around. I ordered the game October 30th on the best buy site so I could get 10 or 20 bucks off including the free shipping. I called to ask when the game would arrive and they assured me it would be the date the game was released. I wouldn't care if it was a day late or two, I wasn't that compelled to play it immediately, although I was quite excited. Now I'm wondering why in the hell they keep delaying it, it's been in Richmond "processing" for the last 72 hours, I'm sorry Best Buy, not even people that live in Richmond want to be there for over 72 hours. Seriously, if someone can't handle the "No Russian" mission then they shouldn't be playing a rated M game. I like the Intel map the bestB) Exactly. It states directly in the beginning of the game, one of the levels may offend people. That level is the "No Russian" because you don't get an achievement at the end of that level. Also because things like that actually happen in real life, but yeah, if people can't handle it then they shouldn't be playing. Sure, I think it's bad, but it doesn't affect me in anyway possible, it's all game-based, not real life (although it does happen sadly), plus it doesn't make me want to go and do that. They stated at e3 that they would be updating multiplayer daily, just small, 1 - 3 second updates that fix online bugs and glitches. I dont get how you notice something that literally is a 1 - 3 second process I don't get an update everyday It isn't a full update where you have to sign out of xbl, or quite the game on ps3, it's just small ones, like COD4s Downloading Game Settings, except this time, its beneficial. Truculence Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 I'm a PC gamer who isn't a big CoD fan, but after reading up a bit on this release I have a couple of thoughts. 1 - Console gamers spend way too much money for games with short single-player modes and poor quality multi-player. 2 - Any PC gamer who buys this title for US$60 is a complete idiot. I know these opinions are going to upset some people who will get all defensive, but it doesn't matter. I've been gaming most of my life, and there's no way a title with a 5-hour play time and slow, restrictive 9 vs 9 online play should cost this much. $40 tops, or $30 for the PC version. I wonder how many people who bought the PC version realize that due to the DRM and licence agreement they can't resell the game if they finish with it or decide they don't like it compared to CoD4. I personally hate it I don't like Afghan either - it's a small map, and there are too many places you can get 'stuck'. My two favourite maps are Terminal (I use riot), and Favela. Multiplayer really does rock. I got my version cheap as chips. In the UK pre-order was £45-£50, but some of the supermarkets decided to sell it cheaper on release. I got mine for £26! Gotta love Sainsburys Also, how is it that of my 8 friends, I have the best kill/death ratio, but the worst win/loss record? I need to get me a clan... Is this a glitch or is there something else that i have to do? You need to beat the game on veteran and get all the achievements for it to be 100%. So, is there a flood/zombie mode? I heard there is... probably getting the game tomorrow, but this will make me drive to the store quicker if there is :D There is spec ops with is just a bunch of different styles. I like spec ops more than zombies because of the variety of things you do in spec ops. Such as snowmobile race, eliminations where you have so many enemies to kill, escort where one of you is on the ground while your buddy is up in the sky protecting you if its the AC-130 or helicopter. Oh really, I pre ordered on BB website and I got my game 2 days after the release date, the 12th. Well, nto really, they delivered it to my house on the 12th, but I missed it because I was at school, so they're sending it to post office today (13th). So 3 days after release, I get the game.
