The better people in this game use headsets... so if they hear you, you're done. But they're also more experienced with scrambler so they will know exactly how far away you are from them. I would personally use SitRep or steady aim over scrambler if you're also not going to use ninja. I have ninja in all my classes except for my sniper classes. I don't see many people using heartbeat censors very often, but inaudible footsteps would be nice. Scrambler also delays claymores though, and it's saved me from them countless times. Just a heads up,ninja pro only reduces the footsteps by 0.4x making them inaudible unless you're using a gaming headset. Yup, it's the only thing that really benefits snipers. For team death,yes for Search & Destroy no. Either that, or I just haven't noticed. Personally, I'd rather them fix Noob Tube + One Man Army, or just get rid of noob tubing altogether. Whenever I get up to a 20 something streak, someone always comes along like you said with their knifing crap and gets me. That and I can never get enough kills with chopper gunner. It always leaves me to get at least the last five or more kills, which is when I get nervous and then ofcourse get killed.
