Guest The Brown Burrows
In my GM Mode Adam Larsson just had a -50 season (2013/14). The second closest was his teammate Tedenby with a -34. His team came dead last with 71 pts. The Canucks won the cup again (my team , see pg. 108 for roster). *full sim. I only play pre-season games and 5 regular seasons game of my choice , trying to keep it real with the team except for the prospects , I barley execute trades ie. real life and sign only a handful of UFA's (no scrubs , only good prospects , see p.108 for my reason) Injuries aren't even bad. They allow me to play a lot of diff. players from the Wolves (give them a taste of the NHL before they get promoted)

AV.
Started a CBJ BAGM Lines: Umberger - Carter - Nash Huselius - Brassard - Prospal Calvert - Pahlsson - Vermette Boll - Mckenzie - Dorsett R.Russel Methot - Wisniewski Tyutin - K.Russell Martinek - Clitsome A. Johnson Mason Harding Dekannich After a brutal 1-9-1 start, I picked up Josh Harding off waivers and he went a tear. 6 games, 5 wins including 2 shutouts. Mason regained form and evened out his 1-6-1 record to an even 11-11-1 now. I'm undecided on what to do with Dekanich, who is 0-3, as he is waivers-eligible but for now he is on the big club. Jumpin Jack Flash
I love the new injury frequency, it actually makes you work on team depth and make changes accordingly. Last year you would set up your roster at the beginning of the year and sail through the entire season without even a single injury.
AV.
You could have just written the bolded part, as the line-up posted is basically the exact same as CBJ's actual roster. Could have avoided a lot of typing. If you're like me though, I like to type.
Guest The Brown Burrows
Keep the core together. ^ Let Kristian, Prospal, Pahlsson, Martinek, and a few role players leave by the end of the year (or when their contracts expire) and fill their spots with prospects or UFA signings. This team got pretty good in my GM Mode (I'm not them BTW) * depends on how many years you are doing , I play 25 so yeah.…

DollarAndADream
Is the HUT deals still on? I bought one last night but all I got was Gonchar and some Training Cards.
AV.
Had a pretty good off-season. Prospal retired at the end of the season. As expected, I drafted first overall, took Nail Yakupov. Then I traded the 31st selection and Antoine Vermette for Cory Schneider Drafted the following according to this for the first 4 selections: http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=927811 39th - Buffalo - Jesse Graham (D) 61st - Francois Tremblay (G) 91st - Dillion Fournier (D) 121st - Andreas Athanasiou (LW) 151st - Matthew Bissonette (Center) 181st - Andrew McBride (RW) - A random winger from the USA section I re-signed Umberger(same terms as in real life) Re-signed Harding(1 year, 1.955) and Schneider(5 years, 4.005 per) McKenzie, Martinek, Byers and Giroux were not re-signed Tendered offers to all except Mayorov, Regner and Dekanic(a 3-17 record) With Schneider poised to be the new number one, Mason was shopped around. Talks with Florida and Phoenix went sour so the Devils, who only had Jeff Frazee and Maxime Clermont as their goalies, were the most logical trading partners. Mason was dealt for a 1st and 4th in the 2013 draft. I signed Jocehn Hecht, Jim Vandermeer, Brandon Mashinter, Jeff Zatkoff and Jason Jaffray. I'm now at the beginning of the season, well training camp, and I'm hoping to see some competition for some spots. Training camp completed. Opening Night Roster: Yakupov - Carter - Nash Calvert - Brassard - Umberger Mashinter - Hecht - Boll Kubalik - White - Dorsett Bass R.Russell Methot - Wisniewski Tyutin - K. Russell Moore - Vandermeer Holden Schneider Harding With Grant Clitsome only putting 3 points in all 82 games last year and the amount of defencemen I had waiting in the wings in Springfield, Clitsome was dealt to the Flames for a 5th in 2013. DollarAndADream
My HUT Lineup: S. MacIntyre/Vermette(89)/Dorsett Eager/Halpern/Jackman Hordichuk/Bredo/Laperierre Reaves/B.Benson/G.Sutch Mitchell/I.White Blain/Holzer C.Sol/J.Young Karlsson K.Bailie Not that bad of a team, but too many fighers. I grabbed untouched Mitchell for 450 and untouched Ian White for 550. Steals. I've bought probably 4 Jumbo Packs now and the best player I got was Sergei Gonchar. No star forwards at all. Only Eager, Jackman, Laperierre and Dorsett. Vermette was from my first free pack, which isn't too shabby. Last year in my free pack I got Alex Semin, and that was amazing. Lol.
