wtpasc
Answer to both: This thread could be "Favorite Rock album of all time? Favorite lead singer ever? ...answer wouldn't change. But for those with tunnel vision, who don't think that is "Rock enough" (despite it winning the grammy for best Alternative album of 1992), then I guess The Bends and Thom Yorke would be my next choice. BurnabyJoe
You mean Badmotorfinger? (I don't expect the same typo twice.) Anyways, good choices. Some more I would add are Broken (NIN), Psalm 69 (Ministry), Throwing Copper (Live), Version 2.0 (Garbage).

Ghostsof1915
Oasis doesn't need people fighting for them. They fight enough amongst themselves. But they were a great band. Too bad their egos couldn't stay in control. Bottom line is no one can take Wonderwall from them....
Ghostsof1915
But I can't leave out two singles by two different bands that to me are off the scale. If you're seeing Social Distortion at the Commodore in April, see you there!

AJ22
My favorite album of the 90's, and still today, was "Smash" by The Offspring. Honourable mentions to albums not yet stated: New Miserable Experience - Gin Blossoms Dookie - Green Day Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine Blood Sugar Sex Magik - Red Hot Chili Peppers Haven't seen much for GnR, Stone Temple Pilots, Nickelback (Detangler was a great album). Growing older I still think Smash is up there but New Miserable Experience is excellent. As I grow older, the lyrics and meanings of the songs are great. All in all, I think New Miserable Experience is classified as a college rock album of the 90's when it is actually quite deeper if you listen to the whole album and know some of the background.
