The Sedin's 6th Sense
To Vancouver: - Dion Phaneuf - Luke Schenn To Toronto: - Roberto Luongo • Toronto gets its goalie, we get a well rounded defense return. To Vancouver: - Radim Vrbata - Martin Hanzal - PHX 6th To Phoenix: - David Booth - Keith Ballard - VAN 2nd • Vancouver gets a veteran winger in Vrbata at a solid cap hit and a huge body in Hanzal at 6'6" who can play 3rd line centre. Phoenix gets a dman replacement for Roszival and Acoin, a second round pick, and a young top 6 forward in Booth to help out with the rebuild. To Vancouver: - Jakub Voracek (rights) To Philadelphia: - Mason Raymond (rights) - Yan Sauve - VAN 1st • Vancouver gets that second line play maker and Philly gets a potential full dman, a first, and rights to Raymond if they feel they need a replacement in Voracek leaving. (Philly basically has to let go of Voracek cause of cap reason...can't resign him) Sign: Voracek 3 years, $3.5 mill per year Schneider 4 years, $3.5 mill per year Salo 1 year, $1.5 mill Carkner 2 years, $750K per year Garrison 3 years, 3.25 mill per year Biron 2 years, $1 mill per year *Malhotra to minors Roster: Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Vrbata - Kesler - Voracek Kassian - Hanzal - Jensen Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen Schroeder, Bitz, Ebbett Hamhuis - Bieksa Edler - Phaneuf Schenn - Garrison Salo, Tanev, Carkner Schneider Biron Edit: 3rd line is young & huge! Jägermeister
Only trade I could see going through is Voracek, and that is only if there is zero chance he and Philly reach an agreement.

Gally
There's no way PHO is trading Hanzal and they would want more for Vrbata. And Torontos D is very weak after the Lu trade. I agree with the other guys about the Voracek deal.
The Wizard of AZ
Radim Vrbata doesn't play well for any other team. Martin Hanzal is worth those players and pick alone. Wouldn't mind having Ballard Back though.

The Sedin's 6th Sense
...why does everyone think Hanzal is a stud or something? He's young, tall and is a projected 3rd line centre - in fact, it's what he is and he's signed a long term deal to play that role too...he's not gonna be a top 6 forward, he's a suited 3rd liner, not a star. MarchandSucks
Huge underpayment for Vrbata and Hanzal. Plus if they were to possibly do that they would want a center. That's the reason there is Staal for Yandle rumors
Burnsey
After i saw Phanuef's name I stopped. Sorry but I really don't like Phanuef. He isn't that great and to be fair if we used Ballard for the whole season then that would probably (or at least close to it) be equivalent to Phanuef. The best thing about Phanuef is watching him look stupid like Ruutu did a few years back
Mr. White
I don't like this proposal at all. But that 3rd line is epic
