Mark Streit's new contract :picard:

Philly must be working on trades as well. Even with Bryzgalov and Briere buyouts, which are pretty much a foregone conclusion now, they still have 6 defencemen signed next year for over $3.5 million each (7 if you count Pronger).

Rumour: The Phoenix Coyotes (or could be the Seattle 'somethings' in a few weeks) are looking to make any sort of move.

Rumoured to want to move up in the draft and/or add more picks; also looking to upgrade at any position by adding NHL ready players.

PM to talk trade

RUMOUR: Sources continue to suggest that Winnipeg could move Blake Wheeler prior to the draft for the right return, although team officials have repeatedly dismissed those rumors and told reporters that they have indeed begun extension talks with the scoring winger.
