canucks since 77
My wifes first GPS went in the trash after it told her to hang a left halfway over bridge in Kamloops. Garmin all the way now! Never use it myself, but then I don't mind stopping and asking directions. Made a lot of new friends that way.

Hamhuis Hip Check

I remember when I first bought my GPS. I read the warning and thought to myself. Would anyone actually stop following the road to follow the GPS? Ridiculous!... I stand corrected.
Mr. Ambien
I hope that people actually look at satellite imagery or road imagery from the start to end of their destination even when using GPS, and of course use common sense not to take an advised road if there isn't at least a near verbatim match of signs. I've driven all over the US and Canada using GPS (not A-GPS) and while it's not terribly uncommon to run into roads on GPS devices that don't have their maps updated, I've never seen how one can override their road instincts to trust the GPS to take them offroad unless they were stupid or drunk. Spyrocks
I find it funny that she had to drive through a field first and then the golf course. One would think that driving through a field would make you think "maybe this isn’t the road anymore. Oh ok it defiantly isn’t the road now that I am in the gold course"
