bassboy4 Posted June 29, 2012 Share Posted June 29, 2012 The only time our second line really was effective last season (assuming our first line remained intact) was when it contained Chris Higgins. He and Kesler work well together, if David Booth can add some finish to his flash (see what I did there?), then Booth-Kesler-Higgins is a must on the 2nd line. While we're on the subject, does anyone else think that our offense fell apart once we traded CoHo? Sign Garrison, maybe an overpayment to some, an underpayment to others, either way there's cash to be had. Sign Schultz for his full cap hit (I think I got the amount correct. If not, there's cash to be had. His actual contract will be for less, I'm just putting what he'd get if he hit all of his bonuses). Schroeder (assuming he isn't traded) can start as 3C, with Matthias as 2C until Kesler returns, or the other way around. It doesn't really matter much to me.
