DonLever
Long tine actor Andy Griffith is dead at age 86. He is best known as Sherriff Andy Taylor on the Andy Griffth show which ran from 1960 to 1967. He was also known for Matlock, where he protrayed a defence lawyer. But it was the Andy Griffith Show for which is will be remembered for. The low key gentle protrayal of small time America life was popular with many people. The pairing of Don Knotts as Deputy Barney Fife made the show even more successful as he was often hilarious. It was never the same with Don Knotts gone from the show. Director Ron Howard remains one of the last major charactor still living from the Andy Griffith Show. George Lindsay, who protrayed Goober, died recently. Jim Nabors who played Gomer Pyle is still alive. R.I.P.

:D
That's a shame. My threat to sick Matlock on people has gotten even emptier.
Grapefruits
RIP Andy Reports say he has been already buried on his family farm on Roanoke Island. Andy's burial followed a small, private service with close friends and family in attendance.
c00kies
I still watch Matlock...and I'm 19 years old. It's going to be different watching it now, but I'm glad he'll be reunited with his buddy Don Knotts. I feel like crying R.I.P.
