AllHailSmyl
Something to cheer those up who have thought Raw to be mediocre or worse the past couple weeks, Botchamania 216! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mnk41EnMWHc Features TNA Bound For Glory, the past few weeks of Raw and SmackDown, WCW Superbrawl 90 (I believe, could be 89 though), and a touch of Chikara. Could be yanked soon though as it has the CM Punk fan inncident that the WWE would like us to forget about a few weeks ago.
Twilight Sparkle
Are you sure this was during the Attitude era? Because Vince Russo was the main booker, and Russo era matches that weren't on PPV generally didn't last any longer than 5 minutes. during 1997 they had some awesome tag matches, on RAW. normally went 10-15 mins. all quality... at least the ones that i remember. i think with the teams that really mattered, like LOD and the Nation really got to work the airtime, or the nation and the DOA. oh right there was also the los boricuas after savio vega was kicked from the nation lol. the gang wars storyline was pretty good. i think during that time those matches got the air time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mnk41EnMWHc i love how tna tries to do what wwe does and try to bring in "celebrities." i've never watched 1 episode of big brother either :D Edited October 24, 2012 by Olias
Grapefruits
Yet another poor showing for RAW and further proof that it needs to go back to 2 hours. ------------------------------------------------------- - Monday's Raw broadcast drew a 2.48 cable rating, the program's worst rating for a non-holiday episode since October 27, 1997 (which drew a 2.3). This is below the rating for the Oct. 1, 2012 show, which garnered a 2.54 in comparison. As reported earlier, the three-hour program averaged 3.55 million viewers, beating a year-low of 3.50 million viewers on Oct. 1. Raw drew 3.58 million viewers in the first hour, 3.65 million in the second hour, and 3.43 million in third and final hour. Viewership for the third hour was a year-low, below 3.47 million viewers on Oct. 1. It was the tenth consecutive week where third hour viewership was below viewership in the second hour. Grapefruits
Time for Taker to just retire while he still has some sort of mobility. ------------------------------------------------- New Report on The Undertaker's Health and Status, Will He Skip WrestleMania Next Year? By Marc Middleton Oct 24, 2012 - 4:53:09 AM - New details are coming out about The Undertaker's status for WrestleMania 29 and it's said that The Deadman is not in good shape at all. One thing that wasn't reported after his WrestleMania match with Triple H this year is that the hip replacement he had a few years back was damaged pretty bad. There is talk that some of the surgical work he has had done over the past few years is really beat up to the point that he's back to square one. Taker had been going to see specialists in New York but he is so beat up now that WWE has been flying the doctors to his home in Texas instead. There is also a lot of talk within WWE that if he does end up doing anything at WrestleMania 29, it likely won't be a big time physical match like we are used to. As we have noted, there is talk of having Taker work the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant with the idea he can do a few memorable spots before being eliminated. Right now The Undertaker is not being figured into any major WrestleMania plans internally. The feeling is if he wants to do it and feels like he can do it, WWE will make room for him. It wouldn't be the first time but it's possible could see The Undertaker skip a WrestleMania in 2013. Some people within WWE are under the impression that the "end of an era" hype from this year's WrestleMania against Triple H really was the end as far as big time WrestleMania matches for The Undertaker go. Not surprising. The man deserves to ride off into the sunset and ride off whichever way he wants too. Him and Shawn Michaels were the two guys that never questioned loyalty during the era where superstars would jump to whichever promotion gave them the better deal, but Taker has the biggest locker room presence and respect. Sad that he could never have an official last match, but everyone has known his days have been numbered since 2008. I guess he'll get to retire with the streak though!!! Also a tidbit (can't remember if it was posted when it happened), Taker and Michelle McCool had their first kid in late August.

Another reason to hang it up and walk away. He must have more than enough money to retire, and I;m sure WWE would throw him a big legends deal. I get the impression though that he is one of the ones that can't walk away until they are crippled. His last match was epic with HHH, I'd hate to see his image tarnished as an over the hill wrestler that doesn't know when to quit. Kazmanian Devil
they really need to scrap the 3 hour shows. it's really too much I dunno, I kind of like having 2 hours of bland GM segments and 3 minute matches.
Grapefruits
they really need to scrap the 3 hour shows. it's really too much Yep. I still only watch about the same as when it was 2 hours. Frankly I'm sick of having to FF through an extra hour to see the few minutes that are decent.

AllHailSmyl
Flip between it and MNF if the game on Monday is a decent one. Lord knows I watched the Broncos come back from 24-0 down to win a few weeks back.
Kumquats
One of the problems is that they have the top card guys from Smackdown! all over Raw but they don't have any mid card cards from either show anywhere. I think I saw Mason Ryan for the first time in a few months during the lumberjack match. Same with JTG since he told the ref he didn't want to get pink eye from Ryback. Another problem is that during Smackdown! they show the main points from Raw, so Raw is more like a 4 hour show moving into Smackdown!

Vanuck14
I think I saw Mason Ryan for the first time in a few months during the lumberjack match. What happened with this guy? Did he get an injury or just piss someone off in the back?

forever_hope
Man there just isn't anything going on that would make me watch every week like the good old days. There are a few good stories here and there but just not the same.. and as excruciating some of her promos are, AJ is fun to watch The WWE feels like the flames.. they know they need to rebuild but keep on bringing back the old guys and jobbing the young talent.
