Common sense
If anyone doesn't remember Clune, he was the guy who Rypien clobbered in LA-VAN game 5 in a fight. This article is a great read, but a long one - hence why I'm not posting it to here. I'm glad this story got out and team management is active in getting Clune help. http://espn.go.com/n...g-road-recovery

etsen3
Wasn't really a fan of his chirping on the ice in that series, remember being proud when Rypien took him down in that fight. Having said that, good to see what he's overcome off the ice.

Coconuts
That was a long, sad read. But it's nice to hear that's he's managed to pull himself together. Drugs and alcohol are demons that many people struggle with and it's nice to see people overcome them, whether that person be an NHL player or not. Saskatchewan Canucks Fan
It's really great that he is comfortable enough to share this story now. When a player can share something so personal, it helps everyone else look for help when necessary as well. My respect for him as a person has gone up a lot. Wish him the best in the future

Sestito29
I LOL'd at how pumped he was after his fight with Weise. He got rocked with one solid punch and the rest from both sides were misses yet he acted like it was a TKO by him.

Sestito29
Yea I didn't really get that. Wasn't really the type of fight that calls for that reaction. And he wasn't even at home. This is the type of fight that a player can have that reaction after:
