BedBeats™2.0
You can all keep being cheerleaders but you're all just denying the fact that the Canucks lost because of lack of toughness. Injuries are never an excuse.. look at the Ottawa Senators.. their best players are injured and they're playing great... This Canucks team will not win a cup the way it is. Sorry. ember
They've lost 10 of their last 17 games. That's not exactly playing great. Even by Calgary standards.

Down by the River
The willingness factor is huge actually.. And I never said it is the same. Big difference between a big guy brought in who's not willing to fight and a small guy brought in that's willing to drop the gloves and stand up for his teammates whenever. ember
You're right, you said it is more important... Could you please provide some examples of standing up for teammates without fighting. How have these examples paid off? How did it lead to team success?

EmployeeoftheMonth
Here Ehrhoff/Ballard actually stood up for their teammates..... One of the players that actually could on the 2011 Canucks... Compared to this where no one did anything: Oh, and after the Rome hit on Horton, look how the Bruins responded..... They stood up for their teammate by gooning the Canucks the rest of the series.... before that hit they were puppy dogs.
