etsen3 Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 I've said it before but this team doesn't have the attitude of a winning team. Yes they're working hard and moving their feet. But so is every other team. Ever since the Boston series we don't have the confidence of the 2011 team. Remember the 2011 team's attitude? They played and approached every game like nobody could stop them no matter what. Sure many people thought we were being cocky or arrogant but regardless of what they thought, we backed it up most nights and because of our high expectations and confidence, we played like a dominant, unbeatable team. Remember how Daniel was wide open with the puck twice last night and hesitated on the shot? There's no way that would have happened two years ago. Either he would of scored, or he would have made an even sicker pass to Henrik for an easy tap-in, instead of just standing around. This year our team plays like it knows it CAN win, but in 2011 they played like they knew they WOULD win. In the playoffs, momentum can change on a dime so this team needs something to light up the team and give us the same confident edge so we can finally start scoring some goals.
