To FLA: Mika Zibanejad Brian Lashoff To CAR: Justin Schultz We are very excited to finally bring in Mika to our organization, we have been in talks at various points with Carolina for probably a year now. We feel he is a tremendous young talent that will grow into a great hockey player at both ends of the ice. Brian brings us some more depth on the blue-line, he has been a solid defender for the Red Wings this season and we expect him to continue growing as a player. We wish Justin the best with the Canes, an opportunity where he can be the go to guy on the back-end for his team, we wish him all the luck in the world. With the play of Stanton and Niskanen we felt we had the depth to lose a bit of production on the back-end to add a tremendous young talent to our forward group.
