y0shi
REPORT: Tampa has an abundance of defensive prospects, but not enough in the NHL. Rumour has it that Calvin De Haan may be available. Other names that are reportedly on the block are Nick Johnson, Magnus Hellberg, Jeremy Smith, and Keith Aulie. A reporter in Tampa has also tweeted that Tampa may be willing to move top prospect Mikhail Grigorenko, but the asking price was said to be a high-end prospect in return. A solid performance from a player that some we're questioning. Hopefully he can continue with this kind of production.

Primal Optimist
This is getting ridiculous... Three more players are pending placement on the LTIR. That makes 9 (!!!) players currently hurt... I had 3 or 4 on LTIR and my Pickup sheet still had 5 injured players on it. I am glad the dark cloud is moving to another city, but I feel your pain. Primal Optimist
Rangers Roundup: It would appear that the Rangers have made some internal cuts to their Roster after the first month of the season, and very loud rumours persist that some Dmen may be on the move. Kevin Klein, Matt Bartkowski are names that come up often, but Robert Bortuzzo has been on the outs with management for some time as well. The list includes Justin Peters, the backup goalie turned starter who enjoyed a win recently as he continues to fill in for injured netminders on the NHL Hurricanes. Carter Ashton and Radek Dvorak are some forwards who are always being talked about on various trade speculation blogs as well. "There are some guys who we feel could get more icetime elsewhere in the league, as we continue to shape our team into a strong contender, there just isn't enough icetime to go around, and some of these guys could be packaged for a very reasonable return." was all the GM would say about what team followers are calling the "internal cuts".
