Primal Optimist
I am happy to see that if I take away Mike Smith's 99 point goal my team would still be in a playoff spot. Whew. I don't want anyone to say "yeah but you only fluked in". #madscoutskills
Bombastik der Teutone
I See the 3rd Spot in my Division is closer than the 2nd. Wildcard Spot. If my team keeps things going it could be interesting Last Weeks in the regular season.
Caboose
I'll be really annoyed if I get Vancouver in the first round. Hiller will decimate me.
da.moose
So in the first round of the playoffs the division winners play the wild cards and the second and third seeds in each division play each other?

canuck2xtreme
This close to catching the mighty islanders! Great job with your team Romo! The more surprising/disturbing to me is the fact that the Isles are currently out of a playoff spot...

canuck2xtreme
Say what you want about torterella, I love how he has the teams back Only issue I have is with Torts going at the Flames dressing room. That really didn't need to happen, and paints us in a negative light (again). I get why he did it, and it's easy to say this from afar of course, but he should have thought better of that. Vent and rant to the media afterwards, call him out during the post game interview for it, but storming their dressing room is always a bad idea even if you're justified in doing it. Caboose
Tortorella not doing the Canucks any favours at head office. Stupid, stupid move.

Bombastik der Teutone
Nice... Coho with 5 Points in the 4 Games since his return , Ehrhoff 4 in 4 in this Period Atkinson with 7 in 6 since he joined the Blues Legwand with 6 in the past 3 Games our offence seems warmed up ..well...maybe to late
canuck2xtreme
Tortorella not doing the Canucks any favours at head office. Stupid, stupid move. Is that something we're concerned about? When was the last time the Canucks got favorable, or even fair, consideration at NHL head office?
Primal Optimist
I have chatted with my buddies on this and we all agree that in the seconds before Torts was in full view of the camera's with all the Flames in their hallway, Torts was likely going to tell the other coach how stupid it was to ice his goons to start the game, I don't think Torts foresaw 12 flames in the hallway looking at him like he was a madman. Personally, if I am Torts just as the buzzer sounds to end the first, I am probably doing exactly what Torts did. Good for him sticking up for the boys that way. I get it, fights happen, I even like to watch them, but there is no reason ever to start the goons to open a game that is pretty much nothing in the middle of the season and doesn't really affect much. the provocation should be addressed by the league just as much as the retort. (see what i did there?)
