The west is simply beating up on eastern teams like we beat up on our division and they are beating up on Jets,Flames and Oilers too. This gives many of them inflated point totals compared to the east. Most likely this trend will stick around which isn't a good thing for the canucks. La Mauviette75 Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 this is basically the same topic: in the past few seasons the west has a slight advantage but it pretty much evens out so no team in the west would have made the playoffs in the east point wise. it might be different this year because the number of teams is uneven in each conference.
