Derp...
Anyone know much about this guy? What are the knocks on his game? He's right there with Dal Colle in scoring in the OHL for Draft Eligibles. 30 goals and 33 assists in 41 games Most people project him as a late first rounder early second rounder, I thin if we could get him in the second it would be an absolute steal. Pure goal scorer.
Pears
Is he Russian? Depending on where we draft I'd definetly use our first on either him or Barbashev.

Derp...
1 G 3 primary A's for Goldobin tonight. Also Eric Cornel had a 5 point night for the Petes, he was a top 5 OHL pick but struggled a lot last year, and is still under PPG this year. Wonder if he would be good to take a flyer on in the 3rd or something. 6'2 R Centre

R3aL
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=695305 http://www.whl.ca/stats/show/type/top_scorers/ls_season/245 Nikita Scherbak >>>>goldobin Scherbak came over from Russia this season to play in North America, he wants to play in the NHL. He's grown from 6 feet to 6'2 this season, he's 174 lbs so has room to fill out As a rookie he has scored : 25/37 62 pts in 50 games Thats good for 9th in WHL scoring and he's the only rookie even close to the top. He's learned a new system, new style, new everything even language he's working on well apparently. This kid could be the biggest gem of the draft. How often are Russians like this? He sounds like a perfect prospect. He also has a young birthday, dec 30 1995 so what he is doing in Saskatoon in my opinion is huge. He could even grow another inch. Of course I like Virtanen, Tuch and Milano even Larkin But Scherbak if he falls I want to pick him, nux never pick guys I want though ever, not that they always turnout tho lol. Scherbak is my favorite possible prospect right now tho
Warhippy
We could use a 1 dimensional scoring threat on this team full of 2 way lunch pail players
Derp...
Agreed. Wouldn't it be nice to have somebody we can count on to score, or at least create good chances on the PP?
