It could have been below the other 512 so the column could have been 4 512 512 blank then going up would result in 4 1024 4 blank with a randomly generated 4 appearing. I need a life... How I did it, was I had all my large pieces lined up in the top 3 spaces of the left column in decreasing order. 1024 512 128 and then I assembled the smaller pieces in the rest of the board using the bottom space of the far left column as a number sink 1024 512 8 16 128 32 4 64 64 4 2 Once I built a piece that could combine upwards in the column I combined numbers up 1024 512 8 16 256 32 4 4 2 Rinse and repeat. c00kies Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 I got the 2048 tile in a game I thought was a lost cause lol. My 1024 tile was the in the top row, but it was the 3rd tile from the left. I managed to recover and build around it. I just needed one more 64 tile and then I had everything in place. The most frustrating game I played was when I had two 1024 tiles that were separated by a 512 tile.
