Montreal should've had at least 5 powerplays in the first period in Game 4 but the refs knew they'd light Boston up so they knew they couldn't put the Bruins at a disadvantage. They actually commit twice as many infractions, so even if the refs call one or two more on them, it still works out as a big advantage. Because if the refs call them all, the Bruins would be always a man short, and there is no way these refs would ever ref a playoff game again if that happened. ie....Marchand knew he wouldn't be called for a double so he takes the extra shot.
