It doesn't even run on the current-gen LGA1151 motherboards! You'll have to buy a 3 year old motherboard. I also purchased Assassin's Creed: Liberation since it was on sale for about $7 on Steam. I've heard mixed reviews, but I have an AC craving and for $7, it's not much of a cost. In that case, you made a great choice. I'm with you though on 3D games, I personally don't play them often enough for it to matter much. My 42 y.o. middle aged man reflexes already make it so that I'm terrible at online FPS games.
