I would rather lose and have a chance at top draft spot than spoil Anaheim's bid for top spot.

The Canucks are missing the big show and are now making it impossible to steal the other show.

Next year boys. Next year. Not now.

(secretly is happy they're winning)

Jim Benning walks into a casino with the Canucks future in his pocket. There are two slot machines. One has 20% odds of a jackpot, the other has 6% odds. Which slot machine is more likely to pay out a jackpot?

Meh, odds suck either way, but regardless, always play to win.

Beauty of a win for Jacob.

Very important to get him one imo.

More important than a franchise centre for the next 10 years?

Yeah sorry not buying it.

Who cares if we develop Markstom. Hillbilly Jim will just trade him for a bag of pucks when Demko becomes his new shiny toy.

Markstrom was really keen in this game.  Very aware.  One of his best all year.

Next year, however bad the team, they will be good on the road.

Well...benning is an idiot so he would try to stuff a five dollar bill in the toonie slot....not understand what happened....and then give a media release saying "things didn't go his way".
