UNIQLO opens at Metrotown October 6, 2017 at 10 a.m.

UNIQLO Canada has confirmed their first store in the Vancouver-area at Metropolis at Metrotown will open October 6, 2017 at 10 a.m.

The store, measuring 20,800 square feet, will offer the brand’s full range of core items of men, women, kids and babies.

The two-level store is located near MUJI, surrounding the Grand Court at Metropolis at Metrotown.

To celebrate the opening of the store at Metropolis at Metrotown, UNIQLO will launch a brand campaign called “Natural Union.” Inspired by the Lower Mainland’s signature contrast of natural and urban environments, and merging of cultures from around the world, the campaign celebrates the contradictions that make up the Vancouver lifestyle, and presents how UNIQLO LifeWear forms its own “Natural Union” with Vancouverites.

I had a boyfriend many years ago who liked shopping at UNIQLO, and I've bought a jacket from them. In 2005, I was really into H&M and Zara, and the clothes were spectacular at the stores in Europe, and I couldn't wait until they opened up stores in Seattle.  They finally did, and was really excited when H&M opened up, but their clothes were not the same as I saw previously.  I guess European Fashion is much different than Pacific NW Fashion, but I do like the H&M store in Vancouver better than the one in Seattle.
