Sweden's " Best Defenseman " Lawrence Pilut has garnered much interest thus far. With as many as 10 offers now on the star ? defenseman, the narrowing down of teams has taken place and mre serious discussions are underway. Keep an eye on this one.

Ilya Kovalchuk still as indecisive as ever, should he sign ? should he sign and bolt ? should he go back to the K ? does anyone really care ? sounds like movement on this front is coming down the pipe.

SIGNING: The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Patrick Marleau to a two year deal.

Thanks Mike, Patrick!

We're pumped! Patrick, like Joe Thornton last year, represents a cap hit. But for a two year period. Which allows us to continue our real development through the draft. But offering a potential significant boost to our on ice performance? Offer at the same time our young players speed & some very real skill to play alongside. Help their development with real veteran leadership!

Welcome!

We have a lot of exciting prospects in our pipeline, and look forward to the following players making an impact next year:

Martin Bakos

Alex Barre-Boulet

Spencer Foo

Keegan Kolesar

Igor Ozhiganov

Josh Mahura

Alexandre Carrier

Rasmus Andersson

Oscar Fantenberg

Adin Hill

Ilya Sorokin

We have a few other players we hope to join in the off-season and get ready for the upcoming AHL season.

We could add Alexander Volkov, Mathieu  Joseph, Timothy Liljegren, Cal Foote, and Hudson Elynuik, but not looking to burn a year of their ELCs at this point. Expect all except Elynuik to see time in the NHL in the next 2 years.

The Vancouver Canucks are delighted to secure Boone's services, and particularly for the five years in which we fully expect to add multiple Stanley Cups to the rafters of Rogers Arena. Boone brings a physical presence, dynamic offense, and a never-say-die attitude that will endear him to our fanbase and cause opposition defenses many problems.

Welcome to Vancouver Boone!

The Blues cant do much in Free Agency at the moment because we have a handfull of  signed Players with a uncertain Future (IRL) on the Roster.

Marian Gaborik could be buyout candidate + he has allways injury issues ... retirement???. Joel Ward could also retire if he does not finds a new Club.

Jussi Jokinen has still not signed a new Contract in the NHL , same with Josh Gorges and Brandon Davidson.

With some luck we´ll have 4 Prospects or mabye 5 that will Join the NHL Roster out of the Training Camp.

If all works fine , Elias Pettersson , Daniel Sprong , Jordan Kyrou and Filip Zadina will make the Team ....and we hope that John Quenneville will be finally ready.

Well .... 3 month untill the Season Starts .... alot of things can happen and we´ll know more in the next weeks.
