gmen81
Hopefully Quinn Hughes isn’t out long. Otherwise I might miss the playoffs for the 19th year in a row.

Popular Post Mr.Miyagi
Good morning, Unfortunately I am choosing to step away from my role as the GM of the New Jersey Devils. It's been fun, but my interest for fantasy hockey is no longer there. I want to thank @Nail for the opportunity. If I ever get that fire back I'd love to come back. Until then, thanks all 3

Monty
The Carolina Hurricanes have extended goaltender Andrei Vasilevsky to an 8 year contract, worth $78M ($9.75M AAV). Deal comes with a full NMC from 2021-2024. And a 10 team trade to LNTC from 2025-2028. @D-Money @Nail 1 1

BM24
I will be stepping down as GM of the Calgary Flames. I don’t have the drive anymore to put an effort into building a competitive roster. I’ve put many, many hours into my team and it’s a very tough decision to put that hard work into someone else’s hands. I was handed a very good core when I took over the team in 2016 and I feel like I built a roster that will be a contender for years to come. I gave the team a legit minor league system that has hidden value all over it, with draft picks just now starting to make the roster that will prolong the contention of the team. I hope whoever takes it over, finishes the job and wins the CDCFL Cup. As to @Nail, keep doing a good job of running the best league on CDC and one of the best CDC has ever had. I’ve been playing fantasy hockey here since 2008, and this league is definitely up there in the ranks - there isn’t any argument in that either, I’ve been in them all/seen what other leagues are doing. Thanks for hiring me back in 2016 when I reappeared after a year or two of hiatus, I had a lot of fun in this league and hate to leave it behind. Wish I could say that will happen again, but for now retirement seems like the best route. Good luck to everyone, and keep this league to the prestige it has become. Edit: I also wanted to mention the core group of GM’s in this league are great. You guys are the reason it’s a strong running league as well. When you have the same core of GM’s, leagues can last a long time. Everyone was great to deal with and that made the league fun to keep coming back to. Nail
Thank you to both @Mr.Miyagi and @BM24 for your time in the league. Two awesome contributors who will be missed. Our league's attention has now switched to focus on finding the new replacements for these two teams. Any interested parties are encouraged to PM myself.

Vas is one of the league’s best goalies, who plays on one of the league’s best teams. And he’s right in his prime. Even though this makes him the highest paid goalie in our league, IMO he’s easily the most valuable goalie from a long-term fantasy perspective. There will be some tough decisions necessary at the end of this season to make the salary work next year, but for 2019-20 the team is all-in for the cup. Provided IRL 2 of Tampa, Vegas, Washington, and Nashville go deep (with at least 1 to the finals), the team will have a really good chance.
