Even if you voted for me and I were to flip seeing my as town would help the game progress. Having a vote in round 1 can help people solve the game in the later rounds by retroactively looking at the vote counts. 1 Link to comment

Yeah mafia do have the advantage round 1, but not voting gives them an advantage in later rounds as it your purposefully withholding information that could be used in later rounds to help solve the game. 1 Link to comment
