Friedman said that Colton will likely be a cap casualty this summer, and he fits our needs perfectly as a gritty bottom 6 C with untapped offensive upside. Assuming he'd sign for ~2.5, would you deal Rathbone + Pearson (LTIR relief) for him?

Eh, all the Canucks medical staff can do is refer him to a surgeon. Unless they committed blatant malpractice, like telling him to play when he couldn't, then it's not the team that's liable.

Absolutely. I’ve been saying I’d be willing to move  Rathbone and/or Höglander for a third line center of equal value and Colton is definitely a guy I’d target.
