Moser signs four year extension with New Jersey New Jersey continued their busy off season by first trading for and now extending top four defenseman J.J. Moser to a four year extension that kicks in for the 2024/25 season. The team having just earned the organizorgan's third championship has shifted its focus to retool the club and bring in more youth to the lineup. J.J. is one such key young player at just 23 years old and already in a position to play top four minutes and run the power play from the left side. No doubt there will be pressure on J.J. as well as some of our other young players on the team after several key veterans were moved out to start the off season. I know Jagr told teams he wasn't coming over to a few teams because he wanted to make sure he got drafted by Pittsburgh. I think that turned out pretty well.
