This argument can be made for so many good players playing good. Petey's numbers are good. Helps that he has a great offensive structure behind him like Hughes, Miller and Kuzmenko. I wasn’t saying he was inflated per say but rather in the best circumstances to succeed. Islanders are a great defensive team with a great goalie. They sacrificed offensive though to get to that point hence additions like Horvat and I believe they may be looking for another offensive player. But it's true that it helps being on a good defensive team. I think Demko's numbers would be top 5 in the league if we weren't routinely icing AHL bluelines.
