Wasn't he on a 1-way in Van? Not that he was necessarily offered that again, but potentially a 250k wage cut. Still has more money than I'll ever see, so he'll probably be alright. Still, given he spent most of his time in Abbotsford here, he may have not had one way options this time, so the large AHL salary helps compensate.
