  1. Eriksson was jinxed here the moment he scored on his own net in his first game. It was a bad omen right from game 1.
  2. How many Germans does it take to screw in a light bulb? One. They are very efficient and lack humour.
  3. It was begun to be phased out in 2010. Now completed at the end of this year. Europe has already banned all sorts of refrigerants we still commonly use here too. We are slow on the changeovers. I remember reading an article title along the lines of “government seizes millions in R410A refrigerant”, and thinking wtf?, then realized it was a Scandinavian country. But here we still use it daily. My four top used refrigerants in my truck are banned in the EU lol.
  4. You can still buy it here too, until the end of this year at least.
  5. On Amazon Prime the Tick. Hilarious superhero spoof. 8/10 just started The Expanse. 4eps in. Im hooked. Any scifi fans would love this. Fills in the gap left by Dark Matter and then some.
  6. Why do vegans make their food taste like meat? I thought eating animals was unethical? It would be like people eating fake human flavoured meat. Weird.
  7. Lol. Its not about Williams getting a penalty here. Its about the non call on Marchand. The penalty on Williams is “neither here nor there”. The non call on Marchand for that blatant high stick is ridiculous. Edit: the “no retaliation, no call” is the problem here for that very reason. There should have been a penalty with no retaliation.
  8. I think the comparison is closer than you give credit. When you see gun violence (the symptom), you point to the problem (current laws) start talking about gun control legislation (your prescribed solution). This is normal in such events. People want to start talking about solutions and problem solving the symptoms of a failed part of society/humanity. How I understand Kragar is that he is saying that he sees this bombing as the symptom, the ideology of Islam as the problem (or at least a part of), and the public discussion of this ideology as the prescribed solution. He wants to get to his solution here just like you do in the event of gun violence. The issue he takes with the tweets is that Obama and Hillary seem to purposefully ignore the problem and solution, as do you. When gun violence happens, many will say "its not the time to have that conversation", when you try talking about your solutions. Similarly, when Obama and Hillary refuse to acknowledge or talk about the problems with Islamic violence, they are in essence having the exact same reaction. Hence, he sees hypocrisy.
  9. Now if only we can find this many people to actually take action rather than demand their governments to take action...
  10. Started AC Odyssey a couple weeks ago. Might be my fav one yet.
  11. Dude has more facial expressions than Ace Ventura. Lol
  12. This ditty is for the guys and gals who risk their lives to keep us safe at home.
  13. After 6 months I finally completed Fallout4. I have this need in me to explore every corner of the map and do every side quest along the way. I then completed COD WW2 in two days. Lol. Such a short game. I realize its probably more popular for the PvP aspect, but I tend to stick to just the campaign/Storyline single player stuff. Now started on AC Origins. This is up there with AC2 and Black Flag in my books. So good. This will probably take me another 6 months too. Lol.
  14. Not much time for games these days...two kids, career and wife all want my attention for some reason. Lol. Been playing Fallout4 since January. Damn its a long game. Got other games waiting in the wings (farcry5, COD ww2, Destiny2, AC origins) , but I hate putting one away without finishing it. I think I have enough games to last a few years at this rate. Lol.
  15. I only ran across Colter Wall in the last week, but he has quickly become a favourite. Young guy with a classic sound and great song writing. (And Canadian!)
  16. My wife doesn't care for country, but she loves this song (and Chris Stapleton)
