greensman
Not only leaner and meaner, but much less Canuck heavy (though still a little Canuck heavy ) and just barely over the cap floor. In fact, I have Kesler on the roster to start the year even though he may not make it, just because I need his salary to get over the floor. This does NOT mean the Jets are looking to take on dead weight in the form of excess cap space. I have that much cap space by design, looking ahead at the next two offseasons with an eye on retaining my elite young talent like Myers, Skinner, Schneider and Eberle. I am open to taking on some, but not long term and it needs to be beneficial. Comeau played very well last season. At 6'1 and 207 lbs, he's not huge, but solid and is just coming into his prime at 25 years old. Picked up 24 goals and 46 points last year playing in obscurity in Long Island last season, but as I said before, I think the Isles can be a very good team and make a run at the playoffs. Tavares, Grabner, Moulson and Nino get a lot of the hype for this coming season, but Comeau will contribute. He should be a great fit with Kesler. The beauty of my lineup is that it is solid throughout, but has flexibility. Kesler, if injured to start the year, will be a scratch and that will open up room for Morrison in the top 6. If Kesler does start the year and B-Mo takes that top line spot in Calgary out of camp, Jeff Skinner slides back to the left side and I have even better depth on the wing. If B-Mo holds that job, Kesler and Zajac both return and I have too many top 6 centers, well... that's a problem I don't mind having.

Venom52
Better invest all of his money in Development. Not like he needs it in Public relations seeing as he acquires players and then trades said players away the next day and still manages to sign Free agents some how. How I'm the only one to notice this is beyond me.

canuck2xtreme
1. He is not the only one that does this. 2. We do notice. 3. Some players sign there because they're the only offer. He's missed far more than he's gotten this summer.

Champions of Nothing
To be honest, I dont see a playoff team. But you do have some older pieces that could return you some solid pieces at the deadline.

Aixtek
Wigilyleaks Report: Emails leaked to Wigilyleaks show GM Aixtek and head coach Pimpnovski have argued over certain players due to their nationalities - Pimpnovski is pushing strongly to acquire more European players and certain North American players may now be headed for the block. Based on Pimpnovski's depth chart, CBJ is in the market for a 2nd line winger and perhaps a #4 D-man, however Aixtek seems to feel the organization might have enough assets to try an obtain a first line winger, one that specifically "doesn't conform to [Pimpnovski's] ridiculous racial ideologies". Considering how many big name Canadian players that have been exchanging hands over the off-season, one can only speculate who Aixtek was after or whether or not they are still available. When asked about the leaked emails at a press conference, head coach Pimpnovski responded "Are you calling us Nazi's? We are not like that. Next question."
