canuck2xtreme Posted April 15, 2013 Author Share Posted April 15, 2013 A lot of teams have asked me about undrafted players, specifically college players that have been signed by NHL clubs etc. and asked if they are eligible to be signed. I figured I would put the answer in the thread so hopefully we're all on the same page. All UFA signings are suspended at this point until free agency in July. They were eligible to be signed prior to the trade deadline (although that date might change next season) but at this point, if they were undrafted and 21 years old or over, they are unrestricted free agents and will have to wait until summer.
