Mollyworld
I love it when Calgary overpays hahaha. Bouwmeester, Wideman, now Hudler. HA!
Phamda
As opposed to MG who would rather trade for a bad contract instead of giving them out.
Mustapha
Hudler old and past his prime?! He is 28. He was 50 point guy in talented Detroit. Scored 25 goals. I think it is a great deal by Flames! Not only yours but reading other comments as well makes me think you don't know much about hockey players outside VAN organization. And all comments seem to be a reflection of your hate towards other Canadian teams… So childish... but then again... I know where I'm posting. DownUndaCanuck
Replacement for Jokinen, doesn't really matter because as long as Calgary think they're a playoff team they'll be finding players who are ready now as opposed to future stars. I feel Wideman and Hudler are going to have a big drop off in production next season.

70seven
Even though Wideman is overpaid, he's a real good PP d-man, and should help them in that reguard. Cgy really needed some scoring help on their back end. Hudler will replace Jokinens numbers. Baertschi will make the team imo, and was real good for them in his breif stint last year, while also ripping up in Junior. Calgary is far from done, and have stated numerous times that they want to play with more grit. Bowmeester is on the block, and could get some pretty decent assets in return. And Hartley may be a very welcome change, going from hard @ss to players coach... Currently looks something like: Tanguay - Cammalleri - Iginla Hudler - Cervenka - Baertschi Glencross - Backlund - Stempniak Comeau - Stajan - Jackman Bowmeester - Wideman Giordano - Babchuk Sarich - Brodie/Butler/Smith Kipper Honestly, I dont think it's that bad of a roster... but still not all that good either...lol
