Edlerberry
I thought DownUnda's predictions were pretty reasonable for a first year NHL starter. Your predictions, though, are highly optimistic. I mean, 8 shutouts? Really?

supermanbieksa
63 starts 36-22-5 Save % 92.34 Gaa 2.32 He'll be nominated for the vezina but Lundqvist will win it once again.... Or Cloutier will make a comeback with a stunning 96.8% and 0.34 gaa playing with Columbus and win the vezina and he might asweml get his name on the cup. JohnLocke
Realistically his sv should not anywhere above .920. Your predictions are too overly optimistic.
Robongo
If he gets over .925 I will be very pleasantly surprised. Some people are in for a world of dissappointment judging by their predictions

consciouscanadian
I could almost swear that this is what you want to happen. Wouldn't it suck if Cory actually flourishes in the starters role and makes trading Luongo look like a brilliant idea.
ilovekevinbieksa
Everyone would be expecting a lot from him because he's been our star back up goalie but he still needs time to get used to playing 50-60 games... Im really hopeful that he's gonna do well though

Stefan
Thats a pretty good record for a rookie there . But you have no proof that he will fade. You don't even know who our back up is going to be? Or the fact you don't know the conditioning that Cory is in. Do you know what he has learn from Loungo who took him under his wing for the past two years ? So why didn't that happened to guys like Ward,Roy,Broduer,Fuhr,Hasek, Loungo, Moog, Howard,Price, who never faded under the pressure of a full season as rookies? Guys,Who most of them were much younger then Cory when they were given the starting position. Some of them had little or no pro experience behind them. Even a couple of them were backs ups for Ho famers for a couple of years. Don't get me wrong here Down Unda! I'm not in any way comparing Cory to those greats that I have meantion. But we don't know what he's really capable of until he reach that point in his Career. Until then hold Judgement or assessment until then.
