I thought Subban has played great today but the defense has played horrible First goal D let that cross crease happen Second goal they fricken let the German walk in on the break 3rd goal turns it over in the slot.... After getting the big lead Canada clearly got overconfident and lazy in their own end. Canada will need to be far more alert and aggressive against the good teams. You can't be making defensive passes without looking like they did on the third goal and you can't leave the middle of the ice to go for the puck carrier like they did on the 2nd goal. Basic stuff. I do not understand the hype on this kid, top ranked goaltender at last years draft and Belleville hasn't done crape. I won't keep harping on him, but I do expect that Binnington should see some time, after all Subban has yet to have a period in which he wasn't scored against on (that includes pre-tourny and the camp games).
