In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Man. Poor Nagy should've been mercy pulled on like the third goal. He's gonna be rattled as hell now.

I agree, that was porr coverage by the Slovaks, they were running around and poor Nagy was left out on his own and Nuge made a nice little dangle on him.

There whole teams looks a bit rattled IMO, the coach should have called a timeout after that last goal and got them focused.

Where the hell is the intent to injure it was a clean hockey hit which apparently you cant do in internationalhockey because euros dont keep their heads up. Awesome job keep up the pressure boys in the drivers seat now.

He should have held up, he didn't have control of the puck and was in a vulnerable position.

Camara is lucky he turned at the last second cause he had his back turned and Camara still would have hit him.

Yea the Slovak had the puck. Look again.

Okay where was the puck when he got hit? On his tape or in his skates?

The 2nd one, like I said he didn't have control of the puck.

BAD MOVE!!!

BAD FING MOVE

HAHAHA ANOTHER INJURED MORON ON OUR TEAM

HE WILL JOIN US IN 2019

Benning will be fired next year. Hope he enjoys screwing around for a few months. I just cant believe this. Another injured BC player. We just got rid of garrison. Seems like the canucks and linden just wanted any BC born player. Doesn't matter if hes good or not. We don't need another Linden to get us to game 7 of the Stanley cup and lose. We need someone to win us a cup.

5 million a year for Vrbata? 6 million for Miller? Kesler for Bonino and 24th instead of 10th pick or one of their top prospects? Garrison for scraps?

ive already lost faith in JB. Ive never EVER had this bad of a feeling about management.

He could still have made the hit, should have just let up a bit, he still could have hit him with enough force to knock him over and not injure him like that.

The thing is, in real time the time between his turn and the time it took him to engage on the defenseman is too little to stop/impede his forward momentum enough to not make that hit.

This is like when AV wouldn't pull Luongo after the 3rd or 4th goal. Nagy is going to be destroyed. He's been shaky all game, and now he's just getting vented.

Well so has Subban

Subban is a ???? weird goalie. He plays deep all the time then charges out randomly, and his timing is like off with it so sometimes he gives up bad rebounds because of it. He almost reminds me of Luongo when he looks jittery and not settled, but all the time he just goes back and fourth.

The Slovak had the puck. The Slovak even touched it with his stick. Alright? It was on his stick.

what a beauty.

Canada is in the drivers seat now, Slovak coach should have called a timeout on the 5-3 goal and replaced Nagy if he still wanted to win badly, Nagy is rattled.

Lets just hope Canada can play solid and take this home now without losing anymore guys.

Totally. He looks really good one second and then on the next chance, he seems to have completely lost the net. His angling is sometimes so wide lol.

Actually look up attempt to injure in any matter.

Wrong. For it to be attempt to injure it actually has to be an illegal play. A clean hit is a clean hit, it doesn't matter what you're thinking in your head at the time.

Here's a common situation: a player from Team A makes a dirty hit. Team B wants revenge. What do people say? "Make him pay with a hard clean hit". You could say that they are intending to hurt this player, but still doing it illegal. This is generally accepted as a way to get revenge in a fair way.

If Camara doesn't make the hit, Luza likely carries the puck out of the zone. Camara was finishing his check in order to prevent a breakout. Therefore it was strategic hockey play. If it was intent to injure, he could have lifted his elbows or perhaps taken more strides to crush Luza.

Canada lives and dies with their PP to make up for the bad defense. Russia, Finland, or US with disciplined play would probably beat us.

It's unfortunate for Slovakia that Nagy was having a bad game from the start.
