Noheart
Not a big Luongo fan , but I would start Luongo because it would cause the most controversy. And that seems to be the teams focus as of late Controversy

Riviera82
I voted for Schneider to start but now that I think about it, maybe Luongo should get the first game. Anaheim sucks so it might be the best way for Luongo to get his feet wet due to his usual slow starts. Edmonton and Calgary are arguably better teams which happen to be our next opponents so Schneider should probably have those games. After that they can divide up the games appropriately, a Schneider/Luongo 70/30 split would be best in my opinion.
Heretic
If the shootout is your concern, then start Luongo as he stopped all 5 shootout attempts on him while Schneider let in 4 of 5 at the end of the practice today....

Guest
Schneider for sure. He's our number one. He should get the first start. Luongo will probably play the next night vs the Oilers.
Moreton
It's simple really. Roll each goalie until they lose. Start with Schneider so there isn't some raging controversy or fuel for the genius sports writers in vancouver to go on about something they know very little about. Luongo is a world class goalie. We've chased him away. BUT he's still a Canuck and I'll be DAMNED if I dont support him until he is not. And SHAME on you if you arent supporting him. Dildo Faggins
Schneider all the way. Especially if its a tough team for the Canucks to beat like the Ducks.

D-Money
It's not really denial for me, it's just that I'd rather have our #1 goalie who's been here for 6 years get the start. I don't care if he's being traded or not, he's proven to us for the past 6 years that he is our best goalie in franchise history and that he, of all people, should be the one starting. Always. Markus Alexander Cody
Yup, there you have it GLASSJAW - pure denial.
Ray_Cathode
Yes...but if no one is offering what we need - then don't let your area of abundance rot or worse yet - go for nothing? The Canucks have 2 goalies capable of being the starter on any team.
Heretic
That was in practice. It is a different story in games.
smurf47
Sounds like an excuse if I've ever heard one. I guess if Schneider has a meltdown in a game it will be "Oh...it's his first year as a starter"....or if he lets in 3 shots in a shoot out it will be "the other team got lucky"....or.... Heretic
and you'd be saying the same about Lou....so..whats the point ?
D-Money
How is that denial? It's the logical reasoning. Nobody from Canucks management has said that Schneider is our man of the future and that Luongo must go. I honestly am fine with either goalie in net, it's just I rather see the guy who's been here longer get the start because it makes sense.
