Schneids because if he is the number one guy, we need to play him in almost all the remaining games this year

Schneider... and if AV goes with Luongo he deserves to be immediately fired. Its a no brainer. Schneider is our no.1 you go with him and let him bounce back.. oh and Luongo hasnt been much better this game.

Roberto Luongo. Just because Cory Schneider looks like he needs a few more practices to re-adjust to the smaller ice surface.

I say give Schneider another chance, having said that we all know what Luongo is capable of and if Schneider's problems continue, I have no problem with Luongo. Even though Schneider may technically be starter, we have a pretty good tandem thing going on and with the games so packed in it makes sense to rotate frequently.

Schneider, but if he plays poorly (more than 2 goals against, or lets in a bad goal, or blows our game again) he is done. Clearly can't handle the pressure if he blows back-to-back games and we don't have enough time for him to go through a learning phase to figure it all out.

Luongo is clearly playing better right now and AV should take this game by game and go with whoever's playing better right now.

Whoever was supposed to originally start tomorrow (most likely lu) starts. Schneider will get his start in the next game and we can just pretend this one never happened

Im semi-shocked as many ppl have voted Luongo as there has been. I only say semi because this is CDC after all but man seriously... the mockery that would be made if Luongo ended up staying here and Schneider being traded after already naming Schneider your guy and shopping Luongo all season.. CMON guys. Its just not going to ever happen. The Luongo era is finished here...sure he may not get traded till next season...(i would hope its sooner as this is going to become a disctraction sooner or later). He's not winning his spot back.. its done. Starting Luongo tomorrow would basically be conceding we don't have enough faith in you yet Cory.. It ain't gonna happen.

If you all believe in not making rash decisions, then you should go with what your original intention for the season was.
Switch goalies for back to back games.

That means Luongo should start.

I honestly believe AV's plan was to play Schneids Saturday and Lu Sunday, however now you have to go back to Schneider and give him that vote of confidence. No brainer to me, and TBH if I was AV I would come right out and announce it tonight to end this media frenzy/speculation. It will really get interesting if he has another bad outing though.

I want Schneider to start. His padded and artificial stats will have to be put to rest early. Let the choking I have predicted long before continue.

There's a reason why they are hanging on to Luongo.

Being a true Canuck, it doesn't please me to be right.

You have to be a true bandwagoneer if you buy Mike's line about looking for the right deal to trade Luongo.

True fans and hockey diehards know, that is double talk for, "Luongo is a high ticket commodity now or next year, we'll keep him around just in case Schneider turns out to be a lemon and chokes games."

And choke he will.

I know this. I'm never wrong.

Schneider. I think right now is a good time to give Schneider a taste of what being a starter is like. And with Luongo backing him up, it should make the transition smoother for Schneider. I think starting Luongo is a bad idea, especially if he were to play a solid game and give the Canucks a win.

I think we need to trade Lu asap, it's becoming a distraction... Imagine if it remains this way the entire season. Schneider had a bit of first game jitters, but it will pass. He'll try harder tomorrow versus Edmonton, calm down Vancouver. lol

"It's an opportunity, we don't look at it as a last chance... We look at it as an opportunity to do something great. We are going to take it period by period, shift by shift. You just have to be better than the guy across from you... Every guy in this locker room I can say believes we can do this." - Ryan Kesler
