Anyone is better then Glenn Healy, trust me anyone is better. And btw Rick Ball isn't that bad OP he used to do the Giants games, his voice is very well recognized throughout Vancouver.

Trevor Linden Quote Nov. 29th 2012 [Asked if he would return to the game?]
"The game has been with me for a long time, if the right opportunity came about, you never know"

"You don't know this, but Trevor Linden had cracked ribs and torn rib cartilage for the last four games of the 1994 Stanley Cup Final," Cliff Ronning said. "You can't imagine what it's like to hear your captain, in a room down the hall, screaming at the top of his lungs as they injected the needle into his rib cage. Knowing him, he probably thought we couldn't hear. He would then walk into our dressing room like nothing had happened. That was inspirational."

Rick Ball was great! He is no Jim Hughson but he is 100% better than Lee.

Am I the only one who gets excited listening to Ball? He is by far one of the superior commentators out there. Beats Mark Lee any day. Sure, Hughson is better, but Hughson is the #1 Hockey commentator. No one can beat him, not even the closest #2 Man, Chris Cuthbert!

Who was the guy that said lappy "might have gotten pushed a little" when he got drilled into the goalie for the first crapty penalty of the year that cost us the game.

"Cost us the game"? What about the next FIVE goals?

What a shock; a CDC thread whining about the CBC.

Thought Rick Ball was actually very good, sounds much more natural than most. Hope they stick with him for the rest of the Nucks CBC games... Lee was terrible.

Anything is better than listening to Hrudey/Simpson just throw us under the bus ever chance they get. Anyone else notice PJ and Weeks wanted to throw down today . It was Hilarious :D

CBC team is just terrible. Hockey night in Canada is a joke.

When PJ Stock interrupted what's his pickle to ask him to clarify his point it derailed the whole segment. Good thing Weekes was there to step in and explain everything. Hilariously bad, and just bush league stuff. Here's an idea for all sports networks...less talking heads. Stacking up jackanapes is not helping.

Hrudey's colour commentating was awful, it was like listening to someone trying to start a car that won't turn over.

Not a surprise. Can't wait for Sportsnet tonight.

That was a bad call, I thought he was clearly pushed into the goalie. And yes Hrudey agreed with the ref. Bring anyone but Hrudey and Simpson to be the color guy. Both played many games against the Canucks in their careers and they hate us.

I loved it last night. It was a major improvement from previous seasons.
