Kassian too confident at the end of his fight?

I just cant believe my eyes.

What the hell is wrong with you.

Lets do some back tracking on how we got here.

Ben Eager has had his way with everyone on this team for the past 4 seasons.

Kassian breaks his face and raises his fist to the crowd and yells Lets Go!

You get offended and make a thread.

Am i missing anything?

I thought that was good. It shows that he actually cares and has some passion in his game. Something that half our players have not shown thus far.

Keep it up Kass.

He tried to fire up his team and the crowd. They just scored and had the momentum, Kassian tried to change that.

Plus, he just bloodied Eager, someone the Canucks were never able to stand up to after Hordi and Rypien left.

Really? Were you by any chance in attendance at the game wearing a suit and texting on your blackberry at the time? The crowd needed to loosen up.

He was trying to get the crowd back into the game. He was essentially saying "come on, make some noise".

I'm not the biggest Kassian fan but he played really well at times tonight.

Sorry Seth, but the idea of being meek about beating down an ass like Eager is old news now in Canuckland. Kassian engaged the crowd. What the $%@* is wrong with that? He showed emotion. That's what was needed

Don't blame Kassian if the Canucks have one of the quietest crowds in the league. At least he's trying to get something going.

Really?! You call that arrogance?! Really?!

Jones_Gold_WJC2736.jpg

The kid was simply stating a fact and backed it up. It's not arrogant if you back it up: it's called having supreme confidence and being a champion.

My sig below reads "Athletes today are scared to make Muhammad Ali statements". Seth made a statement and backed it up. Only the elite are capable of that, and Seth is one at least at the junior level right now.

As for Kassian, I do not think his actions were arrogant at all. It's his home crowd and he's trying to get the fans back into the game after the Oilers tied it up.

Finally some genuine ferocity shown by a Canuck player, and a thread like this pops up?

Actually, I knew some pu**y would come on here and complain about Kassian getting hype after that fight. Such a joke.

So Kas who is a young new guy on the team and doing his best to get the team/fans involved is a "D-bag" for it? Seth you truly have no idea about team sports do you. Really who's side are you on? it sure ain't the Canucks...

Kassian finally shows that he's becoming the player that we all hope he becomes, and someone still finds something to complain about.

Canucks fans deserve all the hate they get from around the league. Bunch of whiners.

While I liked the reaction and passion, I worry how AV will react to it. Don't be shocked to see him getting line 4 minutes at best next game.
