[Report] Brandon Dubinski being shopped

Recommended Posts

Booth is coming off injury and at a time when our offense seems to have died. Booth plays 13 minutes per night and has 21 shots in 9 games. He is going to start scoring. Booth is doing the right things - shooting, taking the puck to the net, but he hasn't been lucky so far. On a side note he is also second on the team in hits per game behind Lapierre.

Dubinsky has 23 shots in 15 games played over 18 minutes per game.

Yip.

One would think the priority for CBJ's would be young developing (cheap) talent. In a normal year he should be a hot commodity on the trade market, but thats doubtful with next years cap.

I could see Schroeder getting the deal done, but Raymond (or ?), whose deal expires in June would have to be added to make the cap work. That starts to look foggy...

So the article says Cbj can't afford Dubinsky and the first suggestion is that we give them Booth?

Typical.

Not sold on giving up Booth, but Dubinksy sounds like he would fill a long term hole of center depth in the organization.

Only problem is the team is back to the same problem of no wingers for the second line.

Booth

mid-level prospect (or late pick)?

for

Dubinsky

Aucoin (right handed UFA d-man for a run this year)

Or if they would rather a d-man, switch Ballard for Booth.
