TO will prob start their annual panic/meltdown, thus might be open to a deal. The premise of this deal is offloading poor contracts, & acquiring affordable youth, size/toughness, alongside some future wealth. TO- Schneider, Ballard, Booth, & Sauve(12+ mill in Cap space) VAN- MacArthur, Cody Franson(RH-D),Mark Fraser, Ben Scrivens, 1st rounder 2013 (about 5.7 mill in Cap) Fraser's an RFA this summer. A +15 currently, big & tough. Leafs D is slower, Ballard may appeal to them. We'd be set for next yr's 64.3 cap-scenario, with TWO 1st rounders this June. Schneider is BRILLIANT, but we'd be good with Lu,(Scrivens temporarily), Lack & Canatta on the way up. At least Boston would have to face the Schneids regularly. Make the East tougher. Dogbyte Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 We don't need MacArthur, Fraser is pretty useless besides the fighting so we get a backup goalie, a first, and a right d man. He can't stay in the Canucks lineup over Alberts and Barker and he makes a lot of money. He's going nowhere unless he gets a compliance buyout.
