Guest Gumballthechewy
Weiss, Schroeder, Sestito, Lapierre, Ebbett and Pinizzotto in our lineup. Oh no that does not look good at all! We better get a top of the line effort from the top 2 lines, Luongo and all of our defence because this is definitely not a deep lineup right now. MG has got to get something done to help somehow. thad
Well if he is reading this............Son, you have got to play BIGGER! No point flitting about playing like a wee guy......... you have to have that "chip on your shoulder" that says "... "I'm 5'-8" and 175 lbs of kick-ass" That my friend is the only way you will find a place on this team.
Yellow Canuck
Hopefully Schroeds will boost our faceoff, it's been abysmal lately

Just Jimmy
Thank You!!!! Now please put him in the top six or at least in the top 9 and stop wasting him on our 4th line. These should be our lines moving forward until Kes returns. D. Sedin - H. Sedin - A. Burrows (normal) M. Raymond - J. Schroeder - J. Hansen (speed line re-united) C. Higgins - M. Lapierre - Z. Kassian (Higgy and Kas showed chemistry together when they played together for a game or two) T. Sestito - S. Pinizzotto - D. Weise (Pinizzotto is a natural centre) D. Hamhuis - K. Bieksa (Put them back together as our shutdown pairing) A. Edler - J. Garrison (Try these two together for the first time since the start of the season) K. Ballard - C. Tanev (normal) C. Schneider (start schneids!!) R. Luongo

Canuckz101
I hope Jordan reads this (one can hope) but I think he has to start using his God given offensive instincts of which he has an abundance of. Great on ice vision, can read the plays and get to the holes, has an absolutely wicked shot, and can make amazing passes. Jordan, if you need a role model as to how to play in this league (and stay), just look at how Theoren Fleury played the game. Great offensive player, like yourself with a low centre of gravity, but played with intensity and an edge. He took it upon himself to take over games and use what God gave him and not fight against it. You have amazing offensive talents....use them and THAT'S what will get people's attention and force AV to keep you here PERMANENTLY! You were drafted to SCORE and make ASSISTS. Go forward young man and do precisely that. This is your time to show who you really are. ..Oh yea and by the way, if you have the chance, SHOOT the puck because with your shot, it will go in at some point. Keep shooting it and good things will happen. If for whatever reason AV doesn't wake up to these facts about you and insists on converting you to a defensive centre and limits your ability to perform to your strengths, he should be fired ASAP because we need young offensive stars on this team and you're definitely capable of that. wizeman
So you'd rather have Jensen up over Schroeder? you do know he can't play more than 5 games or he burns a year of his ELC right? You want to waste his 5 games playing on a line centered by Ebbett, Higgins or Lapierre. Take your pick... Stop whining.
cc_devil
Its unfortunate for Schroeder. AV will have him on 3 and 4 and then sitting in the third period once again. Unless he finally realizes he needs a offensive center on the second line.
stonecoldstevebernier
I like the idea of a Higgins-Schroeder-Pinnizzotto line, a decent mix of skill and grit. I'm assuming AV wants to keep the Raymond-Ebbett-Hansen line together for now... which I can understand. Its tough to find chemistry when you're constantly breaking up and reassembling line combinations, and they did have one good game together. Hopefully Schroeder gets some time centering the second PP. I don't particularly like having him on the point, but he's got more pure talent than Ebbett and deserves to be given a chance. EmployeeoftheMonth
Bad move by the canucks bringing up J.S. If this is the type of move that's going to change anything expect the same , no wins , the team needs an overhaul . Gillis is a lame G.M. knowing what the team needs and still has to rely on a small player like Schroeder who shouldn't be in the NHL to start with . He needs scoring , bring up Jensen , show some some stones Gillis .

Apricot
If AV puts him on a line with some solid players and not plugs he can do some damage. He was getting some good chances when he was on a line with Raymond and Hansen. Pinizzotto and Hansen? Well, I guess we're going to have to see how that goes tonight.
