Dammit 1-0 Knights, that 2nd call was terrible. Such a dive.

And of course they play Chelsea dagger.

So will Sportsnet have the Belleville-Barrie series next?
  • 0

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Kitchener Rangers were just bested by the London Knights. This means Frankie Corrado can now join-up with the Chicago Wolves & be readied to receive a call-up by the Canucks to join 'em as they prepare to enter the NHL play-offs. Watching the Rangers in their final game...it was good to see Corrado play defense so responsibly. Unlike his team's captain Ryan Murphy...Corrado was great on both sides of the puck & pretty much did the right & text-book things. Does anyone else wonder what might have happened - had Frank been selected for Team-Canada (after his stellar try-out/camp) over the risk-takin' Murphy (who had just recovered from an injury at the time)? Offensive creativity is great - but BEST when tempered with some common sense & little bit of risk management. Corrado looked like the MORE capable pro in an NHL system. Altho' Murphy has potential upside akin to a lot of those Oiler 1st round draft picks..his plus/minus stats will be givin' any coach fits! Bet AV's pretty satisfied that he's being dealt another cool & intelligent right-shootin' D-man like....Corrado.

Dammit fell asleep at the end of the 1st period.

I liked what I saw from the 2 of them, McEneny especially, sucks the Rangers are out but thats a tough team to beat. Hopefully they show Belleville's series next.

CHL conference finals set:

OHL:
Belleville (1) vs Barrie (2)- starts Friday
London (1) vs Plymouth (2)- no schedule yet

WHL:
Portland (1) vs Kamloops (3)- starts Friday
Edmonton (1) vs Calgary (3)- starts Thursday

QMJHL:
Halifax (1) vs Rouyn-Noranda (8)- no schedule yet
Baie-Comeau (2) vs Blainsville-Boisbriand (3)- starts Friday

Is this right that the QMJHL has no conferences? Just one, big conference?

Yes its a single table, similar to how most Professional soccer leagues are run.

The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies are a Cinderella story for the ages. If Andrighetto (or however you spell it) and JS Dea can play like they did in regular season, they stand a chance. Although all 4 goalies who suited up for em this year had a GAA well over 3.00. I kind of hope they can pull off the upset, but it doesn't seem likely!

After watching all of the CHL games that have been on tv lately, and following the rest on the internet, I have come to one conclusion...the first team that committs to playing defence will win it all.

I think Portland has Kamloops' number on the series... Chevy seems like he can work some miracles though so im not going to get too ahead of myself...

Im a bit worried about Edmonton because i think they have a few things figured out about Mac and his tending style... Something in me would rather see Calgary (even if we lose) than lose to Edmonton again. Ha-ha

Bad Night for Niederberger and the Colts ..6 Goals at 34 Shots...this was the 1st Time that Mathias got pulled off the Ice during the Playoffs. Hope they can bounce back and win the Series in Game 6.

Abeltshauser and Moosehead made it though ....Konrad with 2 Assists and a +2 at the 5-1 Win over Baie-Comeau :)

Portland, Saskatoon, Halifax and either London or Barrie in the Memorial Cup.

If you add London, that would be a great Memorial Cup for NHL Draft Prospects to shine...

that's what i predicted originally.. we'll see. i guess they might be announcing who hosts it next year sometime this week. i'd be shocked if it's windsor, since their arena is on the outside of town.. bad place for an arena. london really is best choice, considering our success last time

HOLY CRAP! WHAT A GAME! HORVAT WITH 0.1 SECOND LEFT WINS IT!

Been saying it all year, this confirms it.. Bo Horvat is a safe pick to take in the draft. You guys are missing out if you can't watch CHL hockey. Memorial Cup is gonna be one for the record books.. Horvat, Domi, Zadorov, MacKinnon, Drouin, and Jones all in the tournament
