King Heffy
Canada has I think me and you have different tastes in music. You might like Theory of a Nickelback and Marianas Trench, which is fine I don't judge. But I'll stick with my trap music and American netflix. mau5trap
Protection of the Canadian cultural industries. Radio is there to serve the people and public. It should promote Canadian content.. You don't like what they have to offer. You have your private iPod/CD player.
Electro Rock
This. As much of a bummer these regulations maybe to some of you guys, it helps prevent the influx of American/foreign content there is. CRTC has a mandate of promoting Canadian content, there need to be at least some regulations in order to do so.

n00bxQb
Alright, is there anybody out there that listens to 'the Beat 94.5' and 'Sonic 104.9'? Holy crap, do they ever suck. I'm into hip-hop/rap, and they don't play any rap. And the hip-hop is what amuses little girls. Play crap like Taylor Swift. Now, I understand that they play what's popular and what's new, but how are these stations even popular?
Russ
funny thing is back when the beat first launched it was hiphop all the time.. sigh
Blackberries
What happened to them? I stopped listening to them for a long time (went back to classic rock and rock), tried listening to them a few times over the past year and I am dissapointed at what I hear on it all the time...
