Ghostsof1915 Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 Edler, our 1st in 2013, 2nd in 2014, Kesler (If he agrees to waive his no trade), and Luongo (If he agrees and the Islanders are weird enough to take him back...) for.... Tavares and Hamonic Even with Thomas' cap hit, the Islanders are going to need to hit the cap floor. This helps with that, and at least gives them a decent goaltender for their first season in Brooklyn. Kesler can become Captain. For us we get younger, faster, and outstanding skill with Tavares. Salmonberries Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 I really hope ownership is willing to go the compliance buyout route with Luongo. There's no other way I can see to get out from underneath that 5.3 million dollar cap hit that reverts back to us when he retires until 2021-2022.
