Because Scheider doesn't let in bad goals, consecutive goals on consecutive shots, and everything and anything Luongo has been accused of...? Too much faith in Cory and too little faith in Lu. Now the hockey gods take their sweet time laughing at how this team and city have mistreated Luongo. They are both great goaltenders, but it's not like comparing gods to mortal men. Dubai 'Nucklehead Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 I missed a chunk of the game after it was 2-0, but even if Schneider wasn't his usual standard he isn't why they are in this place. The rest of the team should be able to carry the goalie sometimes and not always the other way round. I don't believe they are down due to a talent deficit but because, for some reason, they lack the confidence and belief to commit to winning. It seems they did not overcome 2011 emotionally.
