Jeff Skinner has 20 gals in 32 games. Patrick Sharp, a 'lock'' has 25 goals in 45 games. If Jeff were to have played as many games as Patrick Sharp he would have 28 goals. 2nd in the NHL and first for Canadians. KEY. Key is that skinner is not playing with anyone like a kane a toews a sharp or a hossa. just a sh!tty canes team.

sign him up for TC!!

the difference of line mates

Jeff Skinner atleast 50 goals in 82 games
Eric Staal is on pace for 19 goals and 68 points. (in 81 games)
Jordan Staal is on pace for a laughable 38 points

where as

Patrick Sharp is on pace for 48 goals in 82 gamses
Pat Kane is on pace for 98 points
John Toews is on pace for 80
Duncan Keith on pace for 80
Hossa on pace for 72

Might as well sign up Martin Jones while you're at it it too http://www.nhl.com/i....htm?id=8474889

...but on a more serious note, Skinner just isn't better than the other guys and comparing him to Sharp in a tournament where every game is a game 7 is pretty outrageous...leadership and experience have a thing or two to do with the selection process too if you don't know...

Eric Staal is on pace for 19 goals and 68 points. (in 81 games)
Jeff Skinner is on pace for 44 goals and 73 points. (in 71 games)

Oh and Jordan Staal is just laughable he is on pace for 38 points in 82 games.

Skinner is having a legit season. Better than any of the Staal's.

Impressive Gals/Game ratio even for an NHLer. Safe to say Skinner pulls off the baby face a little nicer than Pronger

Skinner is an incredible skater, has an amazing amount of hockey IQ, can score and make a solid pass. He is not in the consideration this year but in 4 years time he almost has to be

Warhippy's Prediction for 2015/2016

Dallas 7th in the west

Vancouver 11th.

Pierre LeBrun: Couture will have surgery wednesday on injured hand and is expected to be out 3-4 weeks. Olympics still a possibility.

Skinner over Rick Nash for sure, kinda under the radar, not even mentioned by any of the experts at TSN. Surprise, surprise! Dreger is still holding on to the Phaneuf hope.

He would be a pretty good pick. He's a goal scorer so he'd work well along side the elite playmakers. Plus his skating is unbelievable, he's one of the best skating forwards in the league and would be a joy to watch on the big ice.

Rick Nash always plays to his true abilities in a red jersey.

Nash for Canada for sure. He's not the same player the Rangers have when you slap a red maple leaf on his chest

Alright, so we are going to find out who is going to be on Team Canada at 7AM today, and you can bet your hiney I will be there to watch it and debate on who is and who is not on the team. I am looking at you Subban, Neal, Skinner, Kunitz, Hall, Eberle!!!

So when we find out who is on our team, my question to you is who else is left to make a 2nd 'fantasy' squad that we could send over to Russia to represent??

Lets hear it!!

Everyone remembers where they were when Crosby scored the Golden Goal, but do you remember where you were when the roster was announced in 2010?

Too late. The Yanks have already picked their team.

Maybe if Kane gets injured....

Orland Kurtenbach and Dennis Kearns had just been torched 8-1 by the Habs, but they still took time to come out to meet us, some fellow BC boys who were playing hockey in Montreal. THAT"S what being a Canuck is!
